This choke is typical of the quality expected from Carlson. The advertising on Optics Planet and Carlson's website does not correctly describe the material in this choke. Carlson uses a special high strength Carpenter steel (CA455) in the chokes for use with steel shot (Super Steel choke series) for use in Beretta Optima HP guns. When I received this choke it was not marked as such. Follow up calls to Carlson yielded that this material is ONLY used in 12 gauge chokes. I chose not to return this item, but it is not as advertised. There is no difference between this choke and the Carlson chokes for use in Beretta Optima HP 20 gauge guns. Do not feel you are getting something special......
