I actually purchased this choke tube to replace the Improved Modified tube (also Carlson) that I lost just prior to this year's waterfowl opener. I have four Carlson tubes of varying choke constrictions and absolutely swear by them. They are great quality chokes that constrict the steel shot cloud as specified. Their attractive and protective blued finish shrugs off the weather and wear and won't give away your position to the birds in the field. The extended choke is easy to loosen/tighten at home or in the field with the simple steel wrench provided with the choke. Great product at a great price!
