Great "night-vision" protection! - Carson StarMap Astronomy Low Light

I'm a "rank-amateur" astronomy enthusiast, and this Carson flashlight is the handiest light I've ever had to avoid that dreaded intrusion of night-vision-wreaking, anything-but-red light! The Carson provides a bright light, is light in weight, and has a tough casing. And I love the attached key chain! I hooked it to one of those webbed ID carriers that dangle around the neck, and I never have to go hunting around in the dark when I want to consult a star chart or locate a particular eyepiece. Great bang for the astronomy buck!
