Am pleased - OpticsPlanet Exclusive Celestron C90 Mak Spotting Scope w/ Tripod

Bought this Celestron after reading its reviews. A shooting buddy has an older larger version of this Celestron and it is one of the better spotting scopes I've viewed thru at rifle range we're members. Since buying this C90, have been to range a number of times with it and other members with much more costly spotting scopes, have viewed thru it and played with its focus. In short, they were impressed with it's clarity with the 39X lens installed in it and were surprised at its price. The description suggests its a variable 39-100 power. But, it comes with two lens, a 39X and the 100X lens is really a 106X power lens. You will need to order another lens, if you want a power between 39X and 106X. I've ordered another lens thats around 60X, for the 106X is difficult to use/focus when target shooting at 200 yds or less.....but decent at 400 yds plus shooting.

What other reviewers wrote about the sigther scope on this Celestron is true about being not very useful. Tripod with it could be better, but its decent enough for my use.
