Non functional out of the box - Celestron CGE Pro 1100 HD Computerized Telescope 11093

The mount arrived in three boxes, well packed. Manual left a lot to be desired but we figured it out. When we powered it up the Dec motor began to slew to the west and never stopped while the HC displayed an Error Code 17 message. Problem was located as a bad circuit board in the electronics pier. Googled the message and this appears to be a common problem with the CGE Pro mount. Celestron requires that the entire mount be shipped back to the factory for repair. Online reports indicate that the turn around for this repair is from 2 to 4 months and not always fixed.
Pros: Looks good
Cons: Does not work at all. Error Code 17, Google it.
