Frank's Review of Celestron Focus Motor for SCT and EdgeHD

ASCOM driver a plus for use w/ third party software. A must have for astrophotography. Downside is you need a hand controller if you want to adjust w/o a software program. Optic Planet, as advertised and delivered timely.
Pros:
  • Direct Compatibility to EdgeHD
Cons:
  • Hand controller is extra
Best Used for:
  • Software based astro imaging
