Great product for the sale price - Celestron Labs S10-60 Stereo Microscope

Gix's Review of Celestron Labs S10-60 Stereo Microscope
I actually purchased the unit to look at reloaded bullets to determine when the rifling lands touch. Basically, needed a coin or stamp level scope. I had the visor style super magnifier lenses and even at a 4" focal distance, not good enough. Decided to step up for the scope on sale.
It's amazing at 10X and 30X. You combine the 10X eyepieces and use the 1X or 3X objective lenses.
Using the 20X eyepieces with 1X, 3X gives 20X and 60X gives more power but field of view drops and it's less impressive. 10X actually works the best for me and is a lot more power than you might think. Would be perfect for coins, bugs, small slivers in you finger, etc.
This is better than any hand held, or visor type magnifier by at least 5X, even on 10X.
Pros:
Inexpensive
Cons:
Higher powers limit view field and brightness
Best Used for:
Coins, stamps, bugs, small machine parts
Would Recommend:
Yes
