Arthur's Review of Celestron Night Vision Flashlight
This red flash light is small enough to hold on easily and yet also big enough for the light to be useful to look for other items around the telescope while stargazing. The apps on the smartphone also may provide red light but you have to get onto the regular (too well white light lit) menu on the phone to start the app, this in turn will destroy the ability to adapt to the night vision. So I do think that this little flash light is an important accessory.
