got this scope and set it up, thought it was horrible, totally useless. I couldn't see any stars or planets and the moon wasn't out. about ready to return it when i tried another eyepiece from a different scope(meade)and it turned into a great scope.
why they package these two eyepieces is beyond me, they are both terrible, totally useless.
if you don't have any other eyepieces for this, buy a couple, like 20mm and 9mm decent lenses at the same time.
the mount is equatorial, fancy name for "doesn't move in straight line" gonna take some getting used to. tripod is flimsy.
even with 60 bucks worth of extra eyepieces this is an outstanding deal.
