Good scope for the price - Celestron PowerSeeker 127EQ Newtonian Telescope 21049

The tripod is very flimsy and the focuser gets loose and seems to need constant tightening. The 3X Barlow lens is complete garbage. The 20mm lens is great but the 4mm is good but not great. The mount worked a lot smoother once I disassembled/cleaned it then regressed it. I expected the collimation to be off but it was dead on when i got it. The finder scope is hard to use and is easy to knock out of alignment, I plan to buy a new one when finances premit. Overall the scope is a great value and is turning out to be a great first scope.
Pros: Inexpensive beginner scope, Easy to setup, Collimation was not out
Cons: Equatorial mount is hard to use, Focuser needs constant tightening, 3X Barlow Lens is garbage, Tripod is not stable
