Not bad for the price but.... - Celestron PowerSeeker 127EQ Newtonian Telescope 21049

I purchased this scope to take camping and wasn't really expecting much but the scope is working well after some very frustrating collimation issues. The scope came way out of adjustment which is typical and expected because of shipping but I had to completely disassemble it so the primary could be center dotted and the corrector lens built into the focuser had to be removed in order to use a laser. This wouldn't have been an issue except the little nuts used on the inside were impossible to get to and this is why I did not rate it any higher and would definitely not recommend this scope for a beginner. Come on Celestron, you used to make some pretty good scopes!
