I have it mounted to a Celestron Nexstar 8SE.
There is a software upgrade available(July 2014) that makes this device really work great.
Since the upgrade...I can now locate objects in the field of view of a 16mm eye piece.
Very useful for Astrophotography finding objects you cannot normally see.
I use a HyperStar from Starizona for my astrophotography and the object I am looking for is always 100% in the FOV
