Bruce's Review of Celestron Telescopes Lens Shades
Celestron's dew shade helps in high humidity environments but I wish I would have gotten one with a small heater. Unfortunately, Celestron does not make one. On the plus side. it is flexible, unlike the aluminum tube type, but on the con side, it still takes almost as much storage space. Mine sags a slight amount when installed on the telescope but not enough to be visible in the eyepiece. Over all I am happy with it and if you don't have a dew shade, it really does help.
