JDS's Review of Celestron Vibration Suppression Pads for Tripods 93503
These pads use Sorbothane to help stabilize the tripod and reduce vibration, probably making them the best of class. Cheaper brands use silicon, which isn't nearly as effective. Vibration is dampened much quicker using these pads, which is especially useful for astrophotography.

Best Used for:
- Windy conditions, astrophotography, Star Parties, etc.
