Seth's Review of Centurion Arms CMR M-LOK Handguard, .308/7.62

As someone else stated here...the threads for the third screw were burred and I wasn't able to get the screw to thread. Fortunately I can tap and clean the threads out. Other than that, the rail is solid and built like a tank. Now for the supplied barrel nut wrench...its made to fit a 3/8's drive torque wrench...and again...the attachment point was so tight the torque wrench couldn't fit...I had to secure it in a vice and take a tool file and slightly remove a couple thousandths of material to allow it to slide on the torque head. Centurion makes a stout product as I can probably use it as a club or drive a fence post into the ground...but their QC is in need of some serious help as this was IN NO WAY SHAPE FORM OR FASHION, plug and play.
Pros:
  • High quality rail design that maintains a low weight
Cons:
  • Spotty and shotty QC
Best Used for:
  • Taking up space on Optics Planet's shelves
