Needed something for backyard practice and this bullet trap meets the need perfectly. Use it primarily for .22 cal pellet gun and the occasional .22 cal rifle plinking. Light enough to set up easily but heavy enough to handle the steady pounding. Haven't noted any problem with back splatter but always use a cardboard backing for the target. Makes sure the paper target is steady on a windy day and extra safety measure when shooting up close with a pistol.
