Buckonbeach's Review of China Made Macho Machete Satin Fixed Blade Knife
I received the three Macho Machetes that I ordered from Optics Planet on time, and in perfect condition.
Now I can add them to my (already substantial) machete collection.
Already owned several Macho Machetes, but wanted a matched set of three (you know, two for dual-wielding, and the third for backup - and throwing)!
Hard to believe the low price for this fine product (and free shipping)!
These are the perfect blade size, with a weight-forward, armor-piercing tanto point (that will puncture a 55 gallon drum with ease), a handle that is large enough for a decent 2-hand grip (for those extra-powerful zombie-splitting blows), but which is also perfectly comfortable, when used single-handed.
The saw-back is good for making dovetail notches, and other technical joints used for creating Bushcraft camp furnishings, shelters, rafts, and traps.
And the blade cutouts are not just for decoration; they lighten the blade enough to make it lightning-quick, and they also make it easy to lash this blade to any stout wood or bamboo shaft, creating a truly impressive improvised pole-arm!
