Beware that matte does not mean matte black - Choate Tool Benelli M-4 +2 Extension Matte

Bought this for my MAC 1014 thinking it was Matte Black, but no, it is a grey parkerized finish. Rather than lose money sending it back I just sprayed it down with brake cleaner (because it was covered in oil) and then spray painted it with Rustoleum satin black paint. It works as advertised with no hangups from the shells. Keep in mind that if you shells are not 2-3/4” long exactly you won’t be able to fit 7 in the tube. I have some Royal 00 buck that are slightly longer and so only 6 will fit. This is not the fault of the extension tube.
