Solid stock, needs slight trimming for iver johnson m1 carbine - Choate Tool M-1 Military Carbine Folding Stock

This is a solid, well built and rugged stock with a nice, rigid folding shoulder stock. It fit my Iver Johnson (circa 1988) replica M1 Carbine with a few very small modifications of the cavities in which the receiver is fitted. I was able to trim a few edges of the polymer. One internal radius needed a bit more material removed to fit a sharp edge of the receiver into a more radiused part of the polymer cavity. Could have been handled very easily using a Dremel tool, but I was able to carve it out with a utility knife with a little more effort. I'm very pleased with the resulting fit and the solid, rigid feel of the should stock portion, whether it's folded or extended. I would recommend for other Iver Johnson owners if they are willing to do about a half hour of trimming work.
