Professional defense product - Cloud Defensive REIN 3.0 Full Size Weapon Light

I purchased this after having met the owner of the company and several of his employees at a tactical course in Alliance, Ohio. The course focused on CQB environment and there were several runs in total dark conditions. This light was designed by individuals with law enforcement and military experience and was specifically crafted to be a superior weapon light to what is currently on the market. I have mostly used Surefire lights in the past and feel that Surefire is an excellent product, but this Cloud Defensive light improves on them significantly. It is a bit larger in profile than some of the slim, Surefire Scout lights, but the power output of the light is significantly higher. I don’t know all the technical specs and nomenclature of what was done to this light to make it so effective, but the result for me is seeing a much wider area with higher illumination especially in CQB. The output is extremely impressive, and despite a large profile in size, the weight is still about the same as the Surefire lights. The included button switch is very nice and the wire is robust and rigid. You won’t find the need to zip tie down. It includes a re-chargeable high power battery, and a tail cap switch. You can configure this any way that you want, and it’s clear the modularity of this light was considered in it’s design. Without a doubt this weapon light was designed from the ground up for the professional law enforcement, military or highly-trained civilian end user. I will soon be purchasing my second REIN 3.
