This bolt is for those that already have a 22LR barrel installed , if you want to use a 223/556 barrel you will need the version with the cartridge extension . CMMG is the original and stands behind their products 100% all day , I have one of these with 20k rounds down range, yes I lost a few springs and a firing pin , all replaced at no charge by CMMG . I am a fan of Kriss mags and the 22lr bolt catch for running these ..
