I bought this flashlight for backpacking; it's very bright, long-lasting, and lighweight design made it perfect! The red light is great for reading in the tent or hiking at night.

Pros: lightweight, quality-build, BRIGHT, multi-use
Cons: not quite as bright as the CREE LED's
