One would think that the utility the hole on a tent stake provides (in allowing paracord to thread through it and tie down a tent) would be measured by the amount of metal around it to support the stress beared.
I don't understand why this manufacturer drilled the thread-hole SO CLOSE to the edge of this product- no joke, there's a single millimeter of aluminum keeping this 'O' from turning into a 'C'. Some real-world use will ding it up, and surely that weak point will be the first to go.
