An excellent value as a defensive tool or as a novelty! - Cold Steel Brooklyn-Themed Baseball Bat

I purchased the Cold Steel Brookln Shorty mini-bat as a complimentary addition to the one I already own, the Brooklyn Crusher. Both are fantastic products. There are two more bats in the series as of this review; previously, (until recently) the longest: the Brooklyn Smasher, and now the recently released for 2015: the Brooklyn Whopper. Check product listings for specs (lengths and weights). These solid polymer bats literally are as indestructible as Cold Steel claims. The only way I can imagine destroying one of these bats is either by purposely sawing it in half or by putting it in a fire. Short of either of those methods, this mini-bat (as well as the others in he series) could and probably will outlast your lifetime. They are rugged, well-balanced, comfortable to hold and swing, and extremely affordable. They will flex and bend but will always spring back to their original shape. Being that they are totally impervious to external environments and elements, you never have to worry about this bat rotting, splitting, crackng, fading, warping, or failing to perform as intended at any time. The bat is forward-heavy so it delivers the maximum force needed to destroy whatever it strikes. The grip end is the perfect diameter for virtually any sized hand and the built-in stop-disc at the very end of the handle helps to prevent the bat from sliding out of its user's grip during a forceful follow-through swing. I would encourage you to watch the destruction tests on YouTube to witness for yourself just what this bat is capable of. I consider it the "Glock" of defensive mini-bats that NO wooden bat could ever hold a candle to...EVER.
It's a terrific investment and I'm extremely happy I own two of the Cold Steel Brooklyn series bats. Buy yours without hesitation!
