This cane is tough, looks great and can handle any weight you throw at it. Im 6'1" and 270 so im not a lightweight. casual or fancy this will do the trick. I own 2 so I have one that pristine for more formal occasions.

Lightweight and strong. Easy to carry all day, yet still has bone breaking ability.

I explored every rating I could find before making my first of two purchases of this model. Aside from the You tube Videos showing "smashing CINDER BLOCKS/WATERMELONS/WOODEN PALLETS/SO MUCH MORE", I was impressed with reviewers who addressed the ordinary excellence of the cane for purposes of walking on concrete; gravel; dirt; even mud. More than one "formal reviewing website" assigned this as a "NO. 1 PICK/BEST BUY".

I bought my first one from an ebay vendor after Black Friday for $70 (free shipping). I liked it A LOT: (a) multiple layers of fiberglass; (b) SCREW ON, firmly fixed SOLID ALUMINUM HEAD; (c) nearly 38" (I'm 6', I wanted a taller than usual cane}; d) nearly 1# weight. Before I bought these, I used blackswiftsticks.com units (one "lightweight" 4.5 oz) and one, heavier ("mace head" 8.5 oz)--good canes, but they gave me inadequate confidence in their merit as defensive tools. Other "wooding walking sticks and canes" I found, lacking--they seemed to say: "Old man here, weak, easy victim".

Yes, the one pound is a little harder to use--but it's got some serious HEFT and I have a sense of confidence as I walk in urban areas.

SO, since I liked my first one so much, I decided to buy a second one. OP had (and still has) the lowest price. So about 10 days ago I paid $51.49 (free shipping > $50). As a special buy, NO FURTHER DISCOUNTS WERE OFFERED. Unit arrived after a little delay CAREFULLY PACKAGED. It looks and feels just as good as my first one.

Love the cane but the rubber tip has worn down and cause me to slip several times would like to know if you guys offer replacement tips or else this just becomes a paper weight and I can no longer use it to get around

This is a beautiful walking cane! It is classy but extremely durable! Because it is so stylish no one would ever suspect it could double as a tactical self defense weapon. It is very light to carry. The black cane with the silver handle make a perfect combination. I look forward to carrying it the next time I go to a Broadway show. I will definitely feel more comfortable walking back to the car with this cane in my hands.

I'm very satisfied with this purchase. The Cold Steel City Stick is an excellent product - a good value. The cane is slender but solid and light. It comes with a rubber tip that made it useable right out of the box. Solid and well made. It is my "Sunda cane."
