The rubber gun squad - Cold Steel Rubber Training Pistol

This Cold Steel 1911 inert trainer is dimensionally accurate with good balance. It is of similar material to any one of several other brands of trainer guns... red guns, blue guns, all alike. The electric green color is quite startling, and this is useful when training for encounter scenarios where, at first, you might want the responders to quickly identify threat weapons upon making a dynamic entry. This is a 1911 Government dimension, but has Piccatinny Rail, so that can run afoul of some holsters. Many holsters now have nubs that seat into the barrel muzzle, and so far, no trainer pistol has caught up with that trend, so if that's an issue, nothing a .45" drill bit can't fix for you. A good product at a good price point.
