This is a solid no nonsense fighting knife. The kind you buy but hope you never have to use. If you wanted to take out a sentry this would be the blade. That said, the blade needed a little touching up out of the box but took a good edge. A good value for the money, but there are 2 issues that cost it a star on the rating. First the sheath is flimsy, thin leather with a tie down at the bottom and 2 ways of wearing the knife. I know in stressful usage I'd probably pierce the sheath with the tip of the blade. Second the leather wrapped handle is not firmly in place, it rotates and the leather seems thin, not anything at all like the old fashioned KaBar Fighting Knife. In conclusion, a generous 4 star rating for an OK, reasonably priced knife.
