c00lTXMan's Review of Command Arms CBSM AR-15 Collapsible Mil-Spec Rifle Stock Polymer Black

I actually bought this one on purpose because the lower metal sling band mount is metal and, I found that it was connected via an Allen head in the rear of the butt-pad lower. Since this all is really tough hardware and has a hole already in a metal object, I was able to use it as a template to create me a make-shift "Accu-pod" device to place on the rear and use for fine adjustments on the rear with a rest. This worked very well, the stock has all the best features plus a few more I wasn't aware of...

* The compartment can be swapped to the other side.
* The compartment has a rubber seal so, its water tight when latched.
* It actually comes with the wrench that will move the compartment inside the compartment so, if you have others that you can grid off a little, there is room.
I didn't find it to be any less tight than the standard G.I. MilSpec that it replaced and with the rubber pad and built in sling swivel, it is really great.

I did see that it has an odd swivel QD; I modified mine and it will now work with either type. (Created a Mod-QD-2-MagPul-QD adapter with a standard ball-push-pin)

So far, I like it.
The modifications worked really well for fine shooting and It addresses the cost of a real Accupod by being less than a 1/4 of the price of the accu-pod...
