What is going on comp-tac? - Comp-Tac Infidel Max Inside The Waistband Concealed Carry Holster

I purchased the Infidel Holster for my Sig P365. After a long wait (10 days) to receive my holster, I was disappointed to see some "improvements" have been made to the Infidel holsters. I have been daily carrying with an Infidel holster for nearly six years. Here's the problems. They have made the opening super wide. It appears to be an attempt to allow the use of some optic but adds a bulky bulge to the back side of the holster. Some may see the appeal, I would prefer to save the bulk for better concealment. Next, after a few draws and reholstering, I noticed there is no noticeable "click" as you holster your gun. It's very mushy. Even after adjustment there was little improvement. Also, I have excessive wear to the slide from material on the inside of the holster after only a few draws. Which is strange considering the finish of the plastic is quite good. Near the mounting point of the belt clip they have "laid over" the plastic, to smooth out the look I suppose, but this leaves a sharp edge that rubs perpendicular to the slide that will clearly leave a mark over time.
