If you are computer savoy, this may be the ticket for you. I use a laptop hardwired to the chronograph using the dongle as an interface with the 25 foot extension cable. You can lengthen the cable by adding a 25 foot stereo headphone cable to it. I now have a 50 foot extension, giving me the freedom of having the laptop where I need it as I shoot from inside a building on a pistol range. The software is a free download and is easy to work with. My strings can be saved as a file, and printed if needed. The shot readout is large on the laptop allowing a quick glance to see the numbers. If you don't mind the wires and keeping track of the dongle, then it's a go.
