Decent carrier, but not for standard 10x12 plates - Condor Outdoor Exo Gen II Plate Carrier

Seems well made, but the carrier compartment is much too large for a standard 10x12 hard plate. I ordered the small/medium and the description says, "Small/Medium - accepts Medium BALCS/SPEAR cut soft armor,and ***plates up to 10" x 12.5"*** ". I put my AR500 10x12 plate and pad in and, once it settled to the bottom of the compartment, there were at least 2 inches of carrier material at the top that had no plate behind it at all (and the plate swam from side to side because there was so much extra room on the sides of the compartment. They really should have added an extra flap and strip of velcro (that's all it would have taken) at the bottom of the compartment to hold a 10x12 plate in the right position (against the top edge of the carrier). This might work better with 12x14 plate but that's not what I run. Maybe I actually got a Large/X-Large that was mistakenly labeled as a small/medium - dunno.
