Great softshell with little to no drawbacks - Condor Outdoor Softshell Jacket

The jacket construction is good, it definitely keeps you warm when you need it. Water rolls right off of it, and it keeps the wind at bay. The hood could use some insulation but otherwise works well and rolls back into the zipper collar easily. Plenty of small storage inside and out in th pockets. The only issue I had was with the sizeing, and you should probably get one size larger than you would normally wear.
