Sm60ii ds etalon - Coronado SolarMax II 40mm Telescope Double Stacking Filter with Richview Turning System

I purchased this as an addition to my SM60II, and not without some trepidation either due to the added cost.
My fears were however calmed by the views; it pretty much does everything it says on the tin in that there is "higher contrast and greater surface detail". Control is easy, essentially you just work forwards from the focuser with each control point until you get the views you want. I have yet to image with mine, visual only.
One comment in attachment, this is supposed to screw directly onto the SM60II; which it did do with a little persuasion and addition of some very light oil, however, don't let something like that spoil your enjoyment of a worthwhile enhancement on standard
