A quality coronado accessory - Coronado Malta Mount

This is a top quality accessory for use with the Coronado solar telescope. It allows you to use to two mounting screws to hold the telescope instead of the single screw you would use if you were using a typical camera tripod. Keep in mind that since the tripod is so short, this is a table top tripod. It would be very handy to take along for use on a picnic table, for example. The tolerances on the mount are closer than those on my camera tripods, so it does hold the point of aim better. It is not inexpensive; however, you are definitely getting the quality you pay for. I'm completely satisfied with this accessory.
