Installed on colt defender - Crimson Trace Lasergrip for 1911 Officer's/Defender/Compact

Shipping and price-both good. Opening the box took more time than installation. Excellent fit. Made a minor windage adjustment and went to the range this morning. At anything over 10 ft, the laser is difficult to see on a very sunny day. Inside or in low light conditions, the laser would give a shooter a big advantage. But, only under those conditions! If you wait to see the laser, you lose! Learning to shoot with a correct sight picture is the best way to go. I have never owned a pistol that had finger grips that fit my hand. The Defender is no exception. Since the laser grips eliminate the finger grips, the pistol fits my hand much better.
