I have 5 Crimson Trace scopes ranging from their series 2 to series 5. All of mine perform flawlessly, and they are crystal clear. They all are First Focal Plane scopes. I can’t see any difference in clarity and performance between Crimson Trace and upper end Vortex and even Nightforce scopes. These scopes all come with pop up lens covers!
