Solid optic - Crimson Trace 5 Series 1-8x28mm Tactical Rifle Scope

CT is not yet a big name in the high end Optic Industry, however I think their 5 series lineup will change that. I own the NF ATACR 1-8, Vortex Razor 1-6,and have used many other quality LPVO's. the CT 5 series 1-8 has some noticeably good features. It has a hefty thick 34mm, 1 piece tube which feels durable and solid. The turrets are low profile and capped and are tactile in feel when adjusting them. The unit is made in Japan and has on-par glass to that of the Vortex Razor/ Trijicon Credo line up. The reticle is FFP so it is a nice Eotech- like circle dot reticle on 1x and a nice clean Mil-tree with a fine aiming point on 8x. It is also illuminated which helps. It also comes with flip cap lens covers which is a nice touch. The 1x is a nice clean 1x with edge to edge clarity, making this an easy optic to run with both eyes open like a red dot.

The only real downsides to me from my experience is the semi-finicky eye relief (but its not at all what I would call bad).
