Outstanding piece of hardware! - Crimson Trace MVF-515 Modular Vertical Foregrip Laser Sight For AR-15 Rifles

I've wanted a light and laser on my AR for years, but was always put off by switches and wires mounted by double sided tape or Velcro... I wasn't looking for a rifle looking like a Christmas tree! Crimson Trace hit a home run... one neat package that has one battery pack powering both the laser and powerful LED light, ambidextrous switches, master power controls in a forarm grip... HOMERUN! There is only one thing less than perfection. The mounting arangement is set up so you can't remove (or loose) the screws or rail clamps used to mount the grip. Fully open you still have to press hard to snap the grip into place. Unless you know you need to do this, you may get a little uncomfortable forcing it on or off your rail. When you put it on, plan to leave it! You can remove it, but you have to push hard. Oh... I was also pleased to learn that the light and laser are not blocked by a deployed or retracted bipod (Harris style). There is some shadowing of the light, but you will get some of that from the barrel and everything forward of the light anyway.
