What can I say!! This is a multifunctional vertical foregrip that works perfectly on a rifle with pic rail. It is solid and well built... Ideally, if I was the boss engineer, I would have designed it to take AA or AAA batteries and a brighter light.. Nonetheless, this is probably the best foregrip/laser/light out on the market now, which is reflected in the price!! Aside from the price, the built-in light creates a shadow from the front of the rifle barrel. For example, if you are pointing the mounted foregrip light at a wall at night, you can see the shadow of the tip of the barrel on the wall. To minimize this shadow, I shifted my foregrip to the front (tip) of my pic rail. Thus, avoiding less barrel exposure, meaning less "barrel shadow" on what you are trying to look at!! Undermounted pic rails that extend the full length of the barrel would very likely not have this issue, if you opted to place your foregrip to the most forward/front position. In terms of the laser, it is top notch as you would expect from Crimson!!! In summary, if you want a laser, light, and foregrip... and don't want to clutter your rifle with a bunch of accessories, then this is the ticket!! Super compact with solid appearing construction/engineering. Note: I have not banged it up in the field too see if it's truly tough!!! Giving it four stars because I am a tough critic and because of the "shadow," which can be minimized and possibility eliminated by placing the foregrip downstream.
