Crimson trace lg401 - Crimson Trace Laser Sight for 1911 Pistols

The Crimson Trace laser grips are the standard by which all other add-on laser sights are measured. They are included as OEM equipment for some high-end products from Kimber and other companies, and are ideal for range practice, home defense and LE applications. Laser grips allow economical practice (dry fire without use of ammunition allowing safe practice of drawing from concealment, target acquisition, etc.) and can improve the accuracy of shot placement at longer ranges (beyond 15 yards). The laser sight is also excellent for older shooters unable to use iron sights effectively, and does not require an accessory rail for installation like many other optics. For those preferring side activation grips, use the LG301.
Pros: Best laser grip for full size 1911s without rails, comfortable high-quality grip for full-size 1911s combined with excellent laser projector, front activation on the LG401 model allows "instinctive" laser activation when gripping pistol, easy to turn off when laser not desired, easy to install
Cons: Tiny allen wrench (provided) for sight setup is easy to lose, no "battery low" indicator, requires re-zero after battery replacement
