Very disappointed - Crimson Trace Brushline Pro 3-9 x 40mm Rifle Scope

I have to say that I was very excited when I came across this scope. I felt it would make a great pairing with my KelTec KS7 as a "tactical" option for a home defense shotgun slinging sabots and slugs. When I received the scope, my blood draining from my body as my anxiety pushed my disappointment to the highest level. To my dismay, the BDC triangles are VERY small for a "shotgun" scope. Other than that, it's obviously great quality and great glass. Just not what I would consider a shotgun scope. This is probably going on my 22 WMR rifle instead and I will just get the Vortex Spitfire instead.
