Great knife - CRKT Redemption 15in Fixed Blade Knife w/ Nylon Sheath by Onion Design

The knife is fantastic. Seems durable, balances well in the hand, and the handle provides a very firm, positive grip. If I were only rating the knife, it would get 5 stars.

The sheath, however, is not so great. Granted, this is a large knife but the sheath is pretty cumbersome. It retains the knife well, but the low outer pocket is unnecessary and just seems to create bulk. Also, the belt loops are more annoying than helpful. They don't feel solid once you have the knife on your belt. In my opinion, the outer sheath could be eliminated and a simple full kydex sheath would be much more comfortable and secure.

But don't let the sheath deter you from purchasing the knife, because the knife is everything you could want in a blade of this size and style.
