First crossbow - CenterPoint Specialist XL 370 Compound Crossbow Package

After an unsuccessful rifle deer season in East Texas, I decided to get the jump on em next year and get a crossbow. Assembly was pretty easy with minimal head scratching, took 20-30 min or so. I got a morell field tip target and started the sight in process. First bolt was way low and right (lost the bolt). Only took about 8 shots or so to get sighted in. The scope isn't great, took LOTS of clicks and tapping on the turrets to get centered up. It's also not real clear. I'll be replacing it at some point. The trigger isn't great either, long and creepy. I'll be upgrading it too. Other than that, I'm happy with my purchase. The price was right, it seems plenty fast and accurate with the bolts that came with it. Guess we'll see how it does with good bolts and broadheads. Should be a deer and hog killing machine.
