The good; Small file size means your SD card doesn't fill up so fast. I Guard feature allows you to use it as a time-lapse camera. The bad; The detection range is only about 35' I have 4 of these and they all stop detection at 35'-40'. I called cuddeback and the lady verified the detection range is 35'-40'. It seems odd that they list the flash range but not the detection range. The short range negates the good features for me.
