Poor craftsmanship - CVA Scope Bases DS100S

Could not use these bases. The screws that were sent with do thread into the holes on the barrel but are to big to go through the holes in the base. I drill the holes big enough so the screws would go through but then the heads of the screws are to big to go into the recessed area of the bases. Need a milling machine and bit to correct that or search for different screws which would take some time to do
