Shadow 2 kadet reliability issues, like 50% of the time - CZ-USA Shadow 2 Kadet 22 LR Conversion Kit

I can't get my Shadow 2 kadet to run right, doesn't matter what ammo.....light strikes, misfires, sometimes I pull trigger again and it fires....I'm using the spring that came in it....I may try the other heavier recoil springs that came in kit, just to see.....Its getting worse over time instead of breaking in and getting better.....It is well made. I've been messing with it for 6 months.
