There's no excuse to not be ready to put a line in the water at a moment's notice with this rod. Pack this pole in the seat back pocket of the car/truck/jeep, with an ultra-light spinner in the glove box and you're ready to cast on a whim. Packs easily on the paddle board so you can take advantage of those hard to reach fishing spots.
I wouldn't change a thing about the rod itself, but I wish the carry pouch had a bottom pocket that would hold the reel.

Very good rod for intended use. Nice handle too! Really should come in a small hard case for protection. Zippered case it comes in offers none.
