Disappointing lower kit, plastic parts - Daniel Defense AR-15 Lower Receiver Parts Kit, Semi-Auto

I was quite surprised to discover that a few of the parts supplied in this lower receiver kit were plastic. At this price point, not to mention the fact that it's a Daniel Defense product, one would expect top quality parts. Sadly this was not the case. While most of the parts were fine, the trigger guard bottom piece and the safety selector lever were both made of plastic. Call me old fashioned but I don't want plastic parts on a firearm I might need to rely on at some point. I grade this kit a "D".
