Installed on a 45 acp. Recoil actually turned the laser on at times when I didn't want it on. After about 30 rounds or so, the laser quit working. The battery keeper had come off and the battery fell out. Lost the battery keeper and battery at the range. It may work better on smaller caliber pistols.
