All in one kit

I purchased this kit to thread a counter bored Moisin Nagant 91/30 that had 4 inches of barrel removed. Be aware the die gets tight because the barrel tapers, The center screw on the tool can be tightened to open up the die a few thousands, take your time and use a quality cutting oil for a perfect result. Optics planet came thru with the best price and everything arrived promptly

I never would have thought A muzzle break could make that mutch difference

Everything worked perfectly. I opened the die full up for the first cut and completely closed for the second and it worked great. then when I went to the range it was a huge difference. A few weeks ago I could not fire more than a box of Ammo without my shoulder getting sore. after installing the muzzle break I felt like I could shoot all day. the neighbors hate it though the shooter to my right was getting hit with so much blast from the break he moved target point to get away. shooter to my left had to much stuff set up to just move so he asked for a warning before I squeezed off a shot. I finished the day without any pain in my shoulder. Hope this helps other people make a decision. This is truely a great addition to a mosin, So glad I did it.

All the difference in the world

I never thought a Muzzle break could make such a difference. I went from only being able to shoot off a box at a time to being able to shoot all day. I had a shooter to my left and right on the range. the Muzzle blast now shooting out towards them. the shooter to my right packed up and moved to another target point. and the shooter on my left just asked for a warning before every trigger pull. He had to much gear to just move. If your Mossin kicks like mine you are going to love this muzzle break. Your neighbors are going to hate it.

  • Neighbors at range will hate it

Great muzzle

This kit worked great, the piece that goes into the barrel keep the tool straight on the barrel. The brake works so good that its fun again to shoot the mosin nagant without your shoulder getting sore. After you get about 5 threads cut start to add 1/8 turns on the screws to cut it a little deeper.
